Skills
– Firearm and Vehicular Intuition, Ryou is capable of naturally understanding the basic skills needed to operate any if not all weapons or vehicles he comes across. This includes starships, atmospheric fighters, hover tanks and even regular ground transports. The first time he picked up a firearm, he was a master marksman with perfect scores in the academy. While this is what supplied him with a higher rank than normal graduates of the Imperial Academy on Corellia, and earned the misplaced title of Greenhorn, it made him a valuable field operative for the Imperial Army.
– Advanced Interrogation, coupled with his abilities to socially manipulate as well as warp and shape the minds of others. He found it relatively easy to identify ways to torture enemy prisoners both physically and psychologically to minimize their resistance and to keep them alive in the process. It is often he will drop his cold facade in order to get closer to the subject.

Personality
Ryou likes to think himself as superior to those beneath him, often showing a stone face of professionalism that Imperials are infamous for as a result. However he does not view himself to be above everyone, like many other Imperial Officers appear to believe. He is hardly known to complain about his superiors, let alone orders, as long as they don't effect him personally. From the very beginning, he had seen the position he now holds as a position of duty and honor. Despite this, he can be found to be that of a childish prankster, using his power over the force to mess with others as to remain anonymous. Though he sees his rank as a place of honor and duty, he is far from innocent when compared to his short time in the Imperial Army Corps.
His fear of death is very real, an example of when he was summoned before the Emperor after his first year of military service. When the Emperor demanded he be left alone by the nobody in which was himself, he found that the old man had been watching him. Apparently, he knew of Ryou's skills with the force and wished to use them to his advantage as he had a knack for shaping the minds of others.
With his sense of ambition, he would accept the promotions as they were offered and completed high caliber tasks to earn more once he was instated. He became one of the youngest senior officers. However one thing stuck out when he was given the position, he gave the Emperor one condition. This showed how daring he was to speak up to authority, to barter, rather than to simply sellout. Ryou requested for the young elfish girl he saved during tour on an undocumented world in the outer rim, to be his personal attendant.
He isn't the gentleman he wants most people to believe he is. Ryou had saved the girl from being assaulted by some of his fellow officers, after he had already attempted to do so, but shamefully rethought his actions. Nonetheless, he became sentimentally attached to her despite her not being human as most officers were xenophobic as mainly only humans served the Empire as commissioned officers.
With the outbreak of the Imperial Civil War, his first choice of action was to return home. However he ended up choosing to serve the Corellian noble born Grand Admiral from house Solo, shortly after arriving in order to protect his home world. Despite the different command chain, he was able to adaptive rather quickly within the first five years of service. For the first time, to note, he however has become much more inclined to openly use his career to obtain force sensitive artifacts.
Background
Ryou was trained by a Jedi Hermit who was a Master of the force, who knew his father and left him his Holocron to further his training, even after he joined the Imperial Armed Forces. After graduating from the Imperial Academy at Sixteen, he was sent to the frontlines during a brief expedition to an unnamed war torn world inhabited by elfish humanoids. One year later, he is granted the rank of Colonel and placed second to the Debuty Director of the ISB. When the Empire fell and splintered into various warring factions during the Civil War, he decided to return home to Corellia. However when he returned to the planet, he found that it was being torn apart by the factions vying for control.
In the end he ended up siding with Grand Admiral Constantine Solo and becoming the second in command, as well as founding member, of his iteration of the ISB. He was placed as the Director of the Center Point Task Force, a task force that consisted of three Resurgent-class Star Destroyers, with an ambiguous purpose. Using his career and connections, he began to use his profession in order to obtain force sensitive artifacts such as holocrons, amulets and various other pieces of importance.
